Animal Classification Charts
We’ve been doing taxomony on and off over the past year, and plan on getting more serious about it soon. So I made up a pack of worksheets to help learn and/or practice the taxomony or classification of common animals. There are 4 pages with 3 animals each, and each one also comes with a blank version if you want to fill them in yourself (8 pages total).
Each one goes to the species level, so they may be more specific than the common name implies. There are really several species of salmon for example, not just one. Anyway, hopefully these will be helpful in learning terminology and seeing how various animals related to each other.

I hope to do more in the future that target smaller groups (primates, snakes, etc.) this one is pretty general and covers a number of different taxonomy groups.
